Processing time

The time I need to prepare an order for shipping varies. For details, see individual items.

Estimated shipping times

  • North America: 3-5 business days
  • Europe: 3-5 business days
  • Australia, New Zealand and Oceania: 3-5 business days

I'll do my best to meet these shipping estimates, but cannot guarantee them. Actual delivery time will depend on the shipping method you choose.

Customs and import taxes

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I'm not responsible for delays due to customs.

Returns & exchanges 

I gladly accept returns and exchanges

  • Contact me within: 3 days of delivery
  • Ship items back within: 7 days of delivery

I don't accept cancellations

The following items can't be returned or exchanged

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Items on sale

Conditions of return

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

Frequently asked questions

Accurately measuring your ring size

If you do not know your ring size, or want to double check, it is advisable to visit a local jeweler.

Tips for accurate measurement:
• Measure your finger in warm temperatures at the end of the day (this is when your finger is at its largest).
• Avoid measuring cold fingers (cold fingers are smaller than warm fingers).
• If your knuckle is much larger than the base of your finger, make sure to measure both the base of your finger and your knuckle. Select a size between the two to allow enough room to comfortably slip over your knuckle.
• Your primary hand’s ring size can be a half to a full size larger.
• Do not use printable sizers found online.

Sizing details

Please note that most of the rings in my shop cannot be resized to a smaller size because that would ruin the lace pattern. However, it may be possible to size the ring up to half a size up. In addition, if the ring has gemstones set all the way around, the ring cannot be resized.

If, due to inaccurate sizing information, the ring doesn't fit right and it has to be resized, please contact us. Fees for resizing a ring start at $25 plus shipping.

Shipping methods for the returned item

Please ship the returned item via registered mail (USPS) or with FedEx, UPS or DHL for tracking purposes. In addition, please make sure that signature confirmation and adequate insurance is included to cover the purchase price. We will not be responsible for reimbursement or compensation in the event that return package is lost, stolen, or mishandled. Shipping charges for any returned item(s) are the responsibility of the customer.

Additional refund information

To return an item, please contact us within 3 days of receiving it and we will give you instructions on how to return the item back to us.

Once we receive the returned item, the refund will be processed within 3-5 business days. A notification will be sent once the return/exchange has been processed.

A restocking fee will be charged as follows:

  • 20% of your item's price if it was made without gemstones
  • 35% of your item's price if it was made with gemstones

IMPORTANT: Buyers are responsible for any and all customs charges, taxes and any additional postal fees on the returned item.

Methods we use for shipping your item(s)

We offer free domestic shipping on all our items. All domestic orders will be shipped via USPS with full insurance and will require your signature upon delivery.

All international packages will be shipped via Fedex, UPS, or DHL with full insurance and will require your signature upon delivery. Additional shipping charges will apply for international orders, and will depend on the country the package is being shipped to.

Most items are made to order. Please allow up to 6 weeks for your order to reach you.

Import taxes and fees that may apply

The customs office in the destination country may apply import duties, VAT, taxes or any other fees depending on the country’s requirements. In addition, the carrier handling the transport of the package may add processing fees if they act as a broker to clear your package through customs. All charges required for customs clearance will be the responsibility of the recipient. Please check with your local customs office to determine all fees that may apply to your purchase.

International customers are responsible for all duties, VAT, taxes, fees and additional carrier charges which may apply and are non-refundable by Precious Lace Jewelry.
